Our Latest Projects

With experience of working with Clients in London and the Home Counties, we are prepared and evolving to meet the financial and time restrictions the industry is currently demanding. Below is a selection of projects of which we are particularly proud. Of course, every project is important to us, but we want to provide you with a sample of the boundless possibilities we can deliver.

Bricketwood project

This project involved a double rear & side extension with the renovation of all the rooms in the property. This property was transformed from a three bed 1 bathroom to a four bedroom one family bathroom, 2 ensuites & 1 downstairs w/c entirely new central heating system with unvented hot water system. The mains water supply was also upgraded to allow a good water supply to the additional bathrooms with great water pressure.

The electrics was totally upgraded from the distribution board as the old cabling was original and not compliant with the latest regulations.

This was all carried out with the clients living on site so we had to be sure to always have heating and hot water at all times along with cooking facilities.

Apartment refurbishment Paddington, London

This apartment was on the Hyde Park estate in London & was in a really bad state of disrepair! We totally stripped out all furnishings & décor Introduced dropped ceilings to allow services to be run into each room & to allow LED spot lights to be installed. The apartment was re-plastered throughout as the walls were not good enough to be decorated as they were. There was no gas supply to the apartments so we installed an electric water tank to supply hot water for the bathroom and& electric radiators to each room.

The kitchen and all soft furnishings were supplied by The Furniture Union an interior design company based in London.

Rear & side extension Watford

This property although being detached was internally quite small and cramped to live in. The client wanted a more family friendly house that was also good for entertaining friends and family, I think you’ll agree this property looks amazing!

House extension

The client wanted a larger kitchen area with the ability to use as kitchen diner but also to link in with the garden for the sunnier times. Initially the architect had designed a flat roof extension, S.T. Contracts decided that this was not the best use of this space so redesigned the extension with a vaulted ceiling to produce a more light and spacious area. The underfloor heating is perfect to warm the space when the weather is colder but when the sun comes out the bi-folds can open right back to link the whole room with the garden.

We also added an ensuite to the master bedroom and a family bathroom.

Lovely property!

External renovation

So the render was blown and coming away on the garden walls leading down the staircase. Whilst removing the render it was very apparent that the walls were very badly constructed and were in fact not tied into the main house. We decided to remove them completely and construct them properly making them solid and safe, we applied sand and cement render in two coats on each section and when fully dry decorated white.

We also use more modern silicone renders and monocouche renders which are through coloured so will not need decorating in the future just minimum maintenance in the form of a wash down now and again.

Hard landscaping Hemel Hempstead

This property had a very un-friendly garden which was quite unusable! We put some design ideas forward to the client and produced a lovely patio area for entertaining and for the young ones to play but also kept a grass area for the summer months when only grass will do.

We are a professional and reputable company.
